Freddy made 45k... Wonder how much he actually takes home, if any, after taxes, caddie, trip expenses, agent ( at least he didn't have to pay for one meal)

Been a bit since I've paid attention to golf, how did it get to the point where -double digits were needed to win? Augusta just not difficult for pros anymore?

Ha...damn just looked up the past winners and I was totally off. May have been a different tournament I was thinking about or maybe Zach Johnson's '07 +1 win was the last time I really paid attention or just stuck out in my memory.

The Amateur College kid from aTm would have made $306,000, what a weekend he had.

He had to stay an amateur to maintain his invite. In theory the only way for him to make any money at Augusta this year would have been to turn pro and win a PGA event before the tournament.

Well Mr Rahm had LIV golf to thanks for this. No way the PGA became this benevolent so quickly.

The Masters isn't affiliated with the PGA. But you're correct- the PGA magically found a lot of extra money laying around and dramatically increased the payouts for PGA Tour events. Looks like Phil Mickelson was right all along.

20% increase. I guess the economy hasn't affected The Masters.
