Kirby Smart Calls Out College Football Playoff Committee After Georgia Drops In Rankings

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart saw this week's rankings and wasn't happy with them. He made his displeasure clear during an appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show...

“I don’t know how much the committee values it,” Smart said, via On3. “They’re looking, I think, through a sample size of, they’re looking at the game on the TV. They’re not at the stadium, hearing the crowd noise, knowing the atmosphere that you’re playing in. It’s very different when you play on the road in our league, I think compared to some other leagues it’s tougher.”

The march to super conferences, playoffs, NIL; the determination to make the playoffs is in the hands of a committee with their own natural biases is having coaches making grovelling pleas that we deserve to be relevant over other programs that are equally deserving.
