ESPN reporter Britt McHenry was eating dinner in Arlington, Virginia on Sunday, April 5th, when her car was towed. She then tweeted about it...
quote:

Just got towed after eating dinner at an establishment in Arlington. How corrupt is Advanced Towing?
— Britt McHenry (@BrittMcHenry) April 6, 2015

Then this went down...

She recently tweeted this apology...
quote:

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”
Now ESPN has spoken...
quote:

n ESPN spokesman tells TBL: “We are aware of a recent exchange between Britt McHenry and a towing company employee. We are now reviewing the matter with her.”

She should be fired. Why berate someone for doing their job.

I heard on Tv she would be "laid off" for 1 week. She should be fired. Being towed is not only costly but very complicated. However, she showed no class and "spoke down" to a woman doing her job. All people are created equal. I put her in the same category as Erin Andrews: I am on TV and therefore way above all you. Neither is a good reporter. Notice how most female reporters are nice looking. That is because the audience wants the look, not the ability

I am 100% with her, Advanced Towing is nothing but a bunch of rude arse criminals. Everyone who works for these people need to get their butts whooped.

When I lived in Baton rouge, my apt manager said she got a $70 cut on a $325 tow so she would cruise around not only my complex but other complexes to rat people out and claim her money. I'm not defending britt mcBlondie, but fu@k the tow companies. I'd still do her though

She probably was out of line with the way she acted in that video, but I understand her anger concerning the situation. I use to do some fabrication and welding for a towing company in exchange for parts for a 56 Ford Pick-up that I had, and some of the things that I witnessed while I was at their yard were mind blowing.

This is the moment when we must take down towing companies

I don't see anything wrong with what she tweeted. Most tow truck companies are extremely corrupt.

Do dumb arse hoes like this get paid more by Hustler if they have a college degree? She might want to find out.

To the attendant:

"That's why I have a degree and you don't..."

"...with no education, no skill set..."

"...could I be a college drop-out and do the same thing..."

What a count

Why is anyone making excuses for her? She has no simple baseline respect for other people. She's cracking on the attendant for her lack of education yet she's gotta cough up a few hundred for not parking in the right place thinking her looks will bail her out. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if she got fired.

If you have to choose between Britt McHenry being a little bitchy for being exhorted for $500+ on a Sunday night and a tow company troll, you have to choose Britt. Tow companies are pure evil. McHenry's mistake was not heeding her warning that she would send the video out. I would love to see the reaction for anyone making anti-McHenry comments if they had their car towed on a Sunday night and had to pay some gross women behind a chain link fence $500+ to get their vehicle back.

Towing companies are the worst of the worst. Right above criminal defense lawyers. Hard for me to feel sorry for them.

I lived in Arlington. The tow trucks hid behind bushes, as soon as you round the corner they snatch it. One time I was towed there after following the signs to the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot held 200+ cars, only one other car was in the lot. I parked in the correct lot, but non in the correct aisle apparently. Cost me $350 cash. I was only gone a min and my taxi beat the tow truck driver to the location. Such a shady and BS business. Louisiana tow companies are choir boys compared to Virgina.

It wasn't a parking attendant, it was someone who worked for a towing company that towed her car from the restaurant she was eating at. Anyone who has ever dealt with a company like Riverside Towing knows her frustration and what crooks they are. There was NOTHING wrong with what she said to that thief. NOTHING!
