I promise you this isn’t anything he didn’t address with Jalen directly to his face.

“Without me saying it...(inaudible) 2 years. I mean the TD Staff reporter can find better fitness models and talk about something other the Johnny Manziel empire.”

Something that every coach would say to light a fire under his starter

What's wrong with Saban basically saying that it's not good enough for his QB to play that way?

Right after Hurts ran for that first down, they showed a split screen of Jalen and Saban and the announcer said “First and Short.” Well, its what he should have said.

I was expecting him to say , “ go on Jalen .“

Face it, Hurts record is inflated. He is playing with the best collection of talent in CFB. Bama has had different QBs almost every year since McCarron left. Hurts would not have near the success elsewhere that he has had at Bama.

Jalen Hurts is still light years better than anything LSU has at QB.

Split locker room. This should be good.

Nope...not a player on that team wants Hurts to start. That issue was dealt with last season and the other players on offense wanted Tua since he could get the ball to them. Nice try though.

Or maybe he was talking about the shitty defense?

I don't get it. We ALL know this is what makes hurts special...defenses have to leave a spy on him or he will kill you. And hes saying this during a 30 yard run.

Just weird. In my opinion, this is intentional and says a lot about the transfer rumors

Saban knows Hurts can tuck the ball and run. He probably challenged him to throw the ball and complete some passes, with Hurts deciding to revert back to his usual habits.
