On August 27, ICE arrested Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in Kenner, Louisiana. Yiannopoulos legally entered the country on May 14, 2019, through New York City, New York. He chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.

Yiannopoulos was issued a final order of removal by an Immigration Judge on July 22, after failing to show up for his immigration hearing. He will remain in ICE custody pending removal.

Being in detention is a choice. We encourage all illegal aliens to take control of their departure with the CBP Home App. The United States is offering illegal aliens $3,000 and a free flight to self-deport now. We encourage every person here illegally to take advantage of this offer and reserve the chance to come back to the U.S. the right legal way to live the American dream. If not, you will be arrested and deported without a chance to return.

So if you're breaking the law we'll offer you $3,000 to leave?

When did you start following politics?

Were you not around for the 2016 election?

Good optics even if you don't like the policy. We gave you the chance for a free trip home, walking around money, and touchback amnesty and you didn't take it. Your fault, full stop.

Problem is we have dishonest news outlets.

It is much cheaper than arresting and deporting them.

Cost risk assessment says this is a steal.

Good statement and publicity for ICE. Combine that with horror stories about deportation to Africa, and it might make an impact on self-deportations.

Milo was an inside man of the Trump team. He posted a famous video on election night 2016 backstage trolling the national media.

I don't know how it's possible to have paid attention to the 2016 election, especially supporting Trump, and not know who Milo is

That's a picture of Milo's talk at LSU

How much do you think it costs to detain and deport them?

In general. In other words, the opposite of a Trump supporter.

About $152/day, $55,000/year just to house illegals. $3,000 = really good deal.
