re: KG BBQ In Austin

I've been earlier this year and it's really good.

Pomegranate Glazed Pork Ribs
Lamb Bacon Ribs
Grilled Chicken Kebab
Brisket Rice Bowl
Pink Buttermilk Potato Salad

Oddwood Brewing is next door. Order a beer from Oddwood while you wait in line. Even though Oddwood sells food, they do have a partnership with KG. You can bring your KG BBQ inside Oddwood and eat/drink inside if you don't like the vibe outside. Parking lot can get crowded.

You went to a chicken restaurant and this is your complaint? Sounds like maybe Cane's is more your speed.

Lots of good options in that area. I've always preferred Smitty's Market.

Put a Torchy's in there and watch the line back up traffic on Vets. That area of Metairie loves a new chain restaurant that doesn't already exist in the New Orleans market.

I stumbled across the Meshtastic subreddit the other day and went down that rabbit hole. It's definitely more DIY than an off the shelf satellite phone. But, it looks interesting.

I've never had issues with t-mobile signal on the basin bridge. Could be your phone. Did you get a new phone when you switched from AT&T to T-Mobile?

This.

You're not the first person to go in there looking for this exact thing. Tell them you want washers for a washer game set. They have some that they will recommend.
Any chance AT&T could convert the pedestal to a box in the ground? At least then it would be flush with the ground and not such an eye sore.
I was just in Barcelona 2 weeks ago.

Ca l'Isidre
Very nice sit down Catalonian style restaurant. The king and Queen of Spain have been known to eat here. You won't find many tourist eating here.

El Chigre 1769
Popular tapas style restaurant. If you have more than 2 people, you may want to get there early or see if you can get a reservation.

Mercat De La Boqueria
This is a popular open air market with a number of different vendors. Some vendors have barstools around their stalls for customers to sit down and eat (tapas style). Others are grab and go.

Aren't the cases of 1/2 liter bottles purified water? Whereas, the 5gal bottles are spring water?

re: Where to buy 3D printed parts

Like others have said, check your library. If you know someone in Jefferson Parish, the Jefferson Parish library has brand new Makerbot Method X 3d printers and charge $0.05/gram + $1.00 to print.

Em Trai Sandwich

They won't win any awards for best atmosphere, but their food is outstanding.
I was there about a month ago. Over half of the trails were closed or partially closed due to Ida damage. Their website mentions some closed trails and signs at the visitor center list other trails that are closed. Ultimately, we found that neither were correct. We hiked what we could but we were pretty disappointed that the park hadn't cleared trails of Ida debris. Trails with boardwalks had further damaged or were missing boardwalks altogether and were understandably closed.

Call ahead and find out what's open before driving out there.

The NOLA locations and the Lafayette location are not franchises. But franchise rights were sold to get locations in BR and Texas.

I don't know anything about a second location in BR. All I know is that the franchisee that agreed to open a location at Lee and Burbank has backed out of the deal.

The franchisee backed out of the deal. The Dat Dog that was to open at Lee and Burbank is no longer going to happen.
I picked up casings packed in salt from the Rouse's freezer section the other day. I've also bought them from the meat counter at Maxwell's and Alexander's on Highland.
Just bought some last week from the Matherne's downtown.
The Lumia 520 is also cheap because it lacks LTE.
