Have lived there since 2002. Only time we went was wife’s birthday this past May. Spendy, but the food was exceptional.

Trullucks is a good spot, Mastros is also very good. Both very pricey but nice atmosphere and high quality food.

I went to Mastro’s Monday for my 18th and it was great.

I didn’t realize there is a Mastro’s in The Woodlands. I’ve always thought Galleria was their only Houston area location.

So yes, OP, if the one in The Woodlands is as good as the Galleria one, I highly recommend. I love the KC bone-in strip, pepper crusted like their boneless strip.

We went to Mastros for our anniversary last year, meh. It just didn’t live up to the hype, and much better steaks elsewhere.

I want to give Charolais a shot, no doubt the food will be special. Capital Grill has always been good. Azzuro Italian is also a really great spot next to Trulucks which has been mentioned.
