Does NIL $alary for Levitte change Lane’s patience level?

I realize it’s early, but Sam is missing open receivers and bailing in the pocket way too soon. I think it’s a fine line these days on when coaches make changes because of the investment.
I’m not for benching Sam, but I think putting in Clark (think Mickie Guidry) for a couple of series to let Sam watch and settle down would have helped in the 1st half.

This was somewhat unnecessary yet brilliant as Bill wanted Tommy to see the game from another vantage point. And Guidry had outstanding numbers in 86 when he was inserted twice a game. It never hurt Hodson.
Apples and oranges but I would love Sam to chill out and see the game from the sidelines. And Clark has far more talent than M Guidry had. So, I see it as very beneficial and something we should do every game no matter the score.

Lane is saying it doesn't but that could be coach speak. NFL analogy: First rd picks get a lot more leeway to improve before they get benched than Undrafted Free Agents.

Whatever it takes to win is what he should be focused on. Not playing people because of the money allocated to them.

I don't pay a dime for the QB or the coach, but the fact that they are making as much as the do and lay eggs like this weekend, sure changes my patience level with all of them.

I mean berry and Durham are being a paid million each and are 3rd/4th string
