Harris is my favorite Brave now no lie. Aint no one else launching a ball a foot below the strikezone into the chop house.

On the other hand if he had any amount of plate discipline he could have PCA potential lol

We won a world series with Soler Eddy and Joc carrying extremely key roles with a worse pitching staff.

We CAN do this

Ofc they are going to throw the lefties first. Our lineup is extremely lefty top heavy.

Harris has even splits though. Olson and Baldwin drop off against lefties, olson more so. Acuna historically hits lefties way better but this year splits are close to even.

IMO we break up that top heavy lefty lineup

Im just spitballing here

Hariss
Acuna
Dubon
Olson
Balwdin
Riley
Yaz/Lane
Ozzie
Murphy/DH

You could swap riley and ozzie if you want since he is switch hitter and has been better

Harris too. Like I said he has even splits and basically always has. Olsons OPS this year drops by 90 points against lefties which is....concerning.

He is going to struggle against Skubal though I fear. Dunno what he is against him in his career but Skubal feast on people who chase and Harris has without hyperpole a top 5 worst chase rate in MLB, luckily he still crushes a lot of them.

The gameplan needs to be drive their pitch counts up and get to the pen. NO one should be swinging first pitch and just roll over and ground out. Need deep focused ABs

ETA Top 5 in percentile

and duvall. 4 key pickups.

and we did it without acuna and ozuna.

but riley and freeman and albies did their part.

we really need drake baldwin, sean murphy and yaz to show up and start smashing the ball. dom smith had 2 hits last game which is a positive. kim seems useless. 1 through 9 has to show up.

Dodgers as always like the yankees have just bought a great team. especially pitchers.

i still have that thread bookmarked where i called soler's homerun the inning it happened.

warm's my heart each time i piss off astros fans showing them this after they runs their mouths

I believe

I do feeel very strongly we need to be leading Harris off and let Acuna protect him.

Harris is our best hitter

fn ridiculous. pitching has always been loaded when we play them or so it seems.....2013, 2018, 2020, 2021, and now. i'd feel alot better had we beat them like we SHOULD have in 2020. how did we blow that? nevermind. don't tell me.

man you ain't shittin.

all you have to do is look at 2000 to 2019 and see how many times we blew our playoff opportunity. i consider 2020 a huge success even tho we choked against the dodgers in the NLCS.
