I have some AirPod Pros and I have a question regarding talking on the phone with them. I usually use them so that I can multitask and be using my hands for something. The caller on the other end, however, cannot hold a conversation with me because of the noise that the microphones pick up. Is that normal? It's pretty annoying. These are normal tasks that would not be too noisy for a normal phone microphone. I pretty much can't do anything while on the phone with my AirPods pros. If this isn't a problem for anyone else, I guess I'll contact Apple.

No, this does not sound normal. I use my AirPods all the time for similar reasons and have never had an issue.

I’ve never had that issue. Do you use them on the same setting all the time? Maybe try cycling through the settings (noise isolation settings).

Not normal, do a request with apple and they will send you a new pair most likely. They had a ton of issues with these and extended the warranty.

Eta: You live where I'm from. Sorry you have to go through that.

That’s been my experience. So much background noise.

Unfortunately no in ears are perfect for calls yet, but APPs are arguably among the best. For one, they're probably the choice for news interviews, I've noticed.

I use them for calls in a quiet office and it's usually fine. If you're in an open space or outside, then yeah, you're going to run into more issues.
