Rivals had him at a 5 flat 40. I don't think he'll drop his time down enough in the first year. One of his positive attributes was his big frame with room to grow into a DT. He may start seeing time as a redshirt sophomore. Needs to work on his speed but if he can get strong enough and put on some clean weight he may be a solid DT by then..

i know its early but was wondering if anybody sees this guy getting some PT next year. Guy was a high rated DE coming out of high school and I know our D-Line is stacked...just wanting some comments

He was projected to get 1-3 round money even though we was drafted in the middle rounds. That didnt happen to he decided LSU was his best bet from there. He is penciled in as the starting 3rd baseman to start the year. He seems to be a great player to come

Besides the lack of experience and quality starting pitching, the this team is loaded on the offensive side. I do expect Jacoby Jones, Ty Ross, and Kevin Gausman to have very good freshman years

Ive been hearing a lot about minter starting, but what about Maclin jumping into the mix. He has great speed.

LSU's gameplan was bad. Have they been watching film on Newton? I understand the guy is good and he can run. The coaching staff watched the film and knew he ran for 180 yards last week, you think we would have tried something different to keep this guy from beating us himself

do you think its working? or should we just give the job to one of them? it seems its harder for us to get into rythmns, not like we get into many but still.

the easiest thing to say is we got out coached. i do not think we executed on offense like we should have. alot of swing/screen passes in the first half, we have play makers it just seems we are not confident on trying to throw the ball down field
