at 6'7 and the way he tries to run through tacklers, it just seemed inevitable to me that he would have a knee injury when those dbs come in and smash his legs. there's got to be a better way for him to protect himself in a run after the catch. glad he will recover, but i really thought with the way his knee twisted in the tackle it was a acl AND mcl. bad twist on that hit.

To me it appeared as if he had helmet contact directly on the side front of the knee. My first reaction was it looked targeted!! Yep, that is always the biggest worry, especially with the shorter DB's.
But then again, the greatest RB to ever play the game, who would have shattered RB records if he had not retired early did not ever suffer a knee injury and he was 6' 6".

that is my point. dickerson when he saw contact, he would find a crease and minimize the contact, and not let them get to his knees. Green is just so good, he has got to find a way to better protect himself.
