This kid is the real deal. He just got a huge bump on on3 from unranked to the number 11 back in the country. After looking at both of their, film I think he's better than James Simon. Bookmark it. Before you downvote go watch the film. I hope Frank gets on this kid so we won't have to watch him tear it up at a rival school.

Said this on the Junior Day thread since he'll be in town for it... but wonder if we take 3? Berry, Simon and Lindsey.
With Josh being out of eligibility after the year, that'd leave us with Kaleb + Caden, so would help restock in a big way.

Also Cal Berkeley offers are popping up for a lot of in state kids. That’s new. Need to research the connection there

On quick check of coaching staff, their QB coach (Sterlin Gilbert) was the McNeese Head Coach in 2019 according to his profile.

Lot of connections, but tbh, if we go head to head with them for LA kids, I don't see much reason for kids to choose Cal from a football perspective.
The prestige of a Cal degree is definitely something, but that's a different conversation. My guess is they're going to end up targeting a different set of kids in LA than we are.

They need to take 3 now IMO with Holly up in the air. Then again I don't think LSU should ever carry less than 5 scholarship RB's each year.

Yeah Cal would be a player for the second tier of Louisiana players, I don’t think they could pull an LSU target.

He's a good player. After watching all of these kids film... a lot. I think Simon and Berry are the two best in the state. He and Simon are comparable, but Simon is better pure back. B/c of his Dad and how he's been coached up he'll be on the field faster.
Lindsey reminds me of Alfred Blue. He was a good back for us, but it took him a few years to get on the field. Very respectable seasons, but nothing outlandish.
