Parts are harder to find these days, as they become older. Most I have had are 1600 to 1800, if not multi barrel or otherwise a more scarce model.... I know a couple of people who have TC bolt rifles, the action is smooth, good shooters, but nothing wrong with Savage either, esp if you are a lefty.... re: 380 S&W Bodyguard vs. Ruger LCP - CCTiger on 1/21/15 at 10:46 am We have found more folks find the 380 Bodyguard more comfortable compared to holding the LCP, the finger groove on the Bodyguard seems to be the biggest preference b/n the two otherwise almost identical size, shape.

Generally longer bullets need a higher rate of twist, but velocity, atmospheric conditions play a role.
