Dorthy Mantooth and Patrick is a saint…but his fantasy team sucks
Man give it a rest — plenty of time to debate this in the off-season—not really picking a side here but enjoy this for 5 mins.
So where would you rather see a game?

To me, playing against a # 18 Aggies in our bowl game, and being happy about it shows the true regression of this program, despite the current record. I was proud of our season, until I clearly see just how ugly our ten wins were to be playing who we are playing in the cotton bowl. There are other years where I think the cotton bowl would be a good match up. It's a throw away game this year, and they've put us in it. That should tell you something.

Sombody call the whambulance. Cotton will be the next BCS bowl. This is not a sign of any "regression". Oh no, 10-2, here comes the Hallman years pt. 2.

Playing the only game that day > playing the 6am bowl on a stacked tv sched

It is not LSU's decision to make as to what time of day to play the games, when the games are on TV.

Not here to get into a fight. I'm just saying that it's not a part of the tradition anymore. I didn't say it was his fault (obviously, if were on tv every week we can't choose to play every game at night) Just thought it was an interesting choice granted that many people's perception is that he did nothing to maintain this perceived tradition. Calm down and do some reading first. Thanks.

It means running through the goal posts on Saturday Night.

I wasn't one of the fans causing a big stink about the day games but why reference this if you had NO intent on carrying on this tradition. Of course Money > Tradition. But why reference this tradition if it truly isn't an assured part of gameday/LSU anymore.

You've got to be kidding me. Extremly relevant. I guess some things never change, huh?

Maybe they could get a cool graphic or banner to put up on the Indoor on the side facing the New Box. Think that would be cool and take away from the old manilla building in the distance.

This could be the dumbest post I've read on the Rant.

Actually, maybe he just meant they'd cover the spread? (Somewhere in the ballpark of 21 points or so I'd say) :dunno:

I'd have put KY and ARK up against USC last year and bet on the SEC both times!

Wow.....just wow.

AT&T Cotton
Missouri 38, Arkansas 7

Gaylord Hotels Music City
Kentucky 35, Florida State 28 (barely beating Florida St. not terribly impressive)

Sorry, but at some point this USC thing needs to be put to rest. Why not accept that they're both great teams.

Ramping up for the new Texas Stadium. Wanted the TV time all to their selves.

Alex Box Lot Tailgating Problems

Hey guys, i'm about to head in to class but I am sitting in the Alex Bot Lot watching an LSU cop cutting chains that are tying people's tents to trees and he's taking them. Might want to be on the look out if your set up around here.
My thoughts on the possibility ...

Also, I think offenses in general have impoved the past few years.

I agree.

Question: Does anyone know if Florida's revitalized running game hass any correlation to the "new" package Oregon St. is running this year? I heard that this Oregon St. package will be common place amongst college teams by the end of the year. Comments?
