Any thoughts on Ole Miss beating Bama?

Yeah, lets just hope that Ole Miss does
not beat Bama or that Bama doesn't lose
until we play them. We really need Bama
to be ranked as high as possible when we
play them. This will really help our BCS
ranking when we beat them.

that's kind of dumb thinking at this point, if we root for bama to go undefeated until they play us, and we lose either to SCar or Georgia, then we could conceivably beat Bama and still not go to the SECCG

Yes, there is more than one circumstnace. I was talking if we both run the table. Depends on how much faith you have in LSU right now. Personally I am rooting for LSU to only have one loss going into the SECCG. Even though that might be a stretch.

As much as I would love to look at possible scenarios that would best help LSU's BCS chances, I pretty much am just looking at the next game on our schedule and concerning myself with that only. We have shown that we have several weaknesses, especially defensively, so I really don't look at other games as much now. We need to fix a lot of things with our team, however, if we fix them, our reamaining schedule would allow us to move back to the top of the BCS ladder if we would win the games!

Right now i could care less what the rest of the conference does. We win Saturday, and continue to win it wont matter.
If we lose another game or two, do you really want to go to the SECCG and get humiliated again....
If we can rebound and run the table, i like our chanches in a rematch....

I think we will run the ball at will on Ole Miss. They do not have a very good rush defense. That will eat up the clock. If we establish a strong running game and score when we have the ball, I think the clock will be their enemy. We need to eat up the clock on offense and keep our defense off the field. I think we win this game.

at this point i don't really care about BCS ranking, make it to the SECCG and that would be a good season
