I was embarrassed by the LSU defense, not because of their performance, but by their character. (or lack thereof)

There were several occaisions where Florida would advance the ball and when LSU would make a takle, the player would hover over them and then celebrate like they just won a prize at Chucky Cheezes.

You just don't do that when you're losing badly in a very important game, especially not after the quarterback just gained 8 yards! What a joke, these idiots need to be put in place. They may represent North Baton Rouge well, but not the bulk of LSU fans.

I don't care what FU did, they don't represent my town and the many generations of family that have graduated from LSU been through the ups and downs of LSU football.

So, I ask that we not tolerate such idiotic behavior.

I thought it was pretty silly that there was trash talking from the LSU defense late in the game. I noticed a lot coming from Coleman. I mean, big deal, you hit a guy hard, but you're down 20+ points. Move on to the next play.

I saw that too. Reminded me of Auburn players -- give up a 9 yard run and celebrate because you knocked him out of bounds. Classic.

Great first post, dumbass

Personally, we need more players like Harry Coleman and Tyson Jackson. We were SOFT and those were the few guys that were actually playing. Everytime UF made a play they were talking shite but it's ok cuz they were winning? Defense is 100% about attitude and effort. When you're getting in people's faces and not backing down that means you have attitude...and we lack it right now.

I wish we had more Laron Landry's, Harry Coleman's, Tyson Jackson's out there...so we don't care about your "generation" of LSU football because your generation didn't win championships so please, go back to the hole you crawled out of.

Add flaming on the internets to your resume of mental shortcomings. It's possible to be the best without being an embarrassment. I don't need you to talk shite anymore once you're down by 20 just because you want to brag about your own PERSONAL accomplishment.

None of greatest defensive players of all time would have behaved like that, so your logic is flawed. Even if it weren't, I would rather not seem like selfish 19 year old thugs with no common sense - even if you think it makes us "soft". Florida actually didn't do as much trash talking as LSU, but it was apparent - and possibly an issue with YOUNG PEOPLE IN GENERAL.

.. and by the way Saban frowned upon his players showboating and gloating at the wrong times. His teams have done pretty well. Obviously it's dumb to say that we have to have billigerent/a-hole players in order to win.

There's a reason I don't live in North Baton Rouge anymore and I don't really want my Tigers to be like that. Some of you are experiencing blind love, I think. I believe in tough-love.

If you don't like celebrating and trash-talking, then you are against it when winning or losing. There is nothing more wrong with this stuff when they are losing. When SnowMan comes out against trash-talking and celebrating because we were losing, it just makes him look like a whiny bitch.

It does look pretty silly.

I've seen a lot of worse things to be pissed about, though.

Snowman, you are trash-talking just as bad as our players did.

If you can do it, why can't they?

At least they knocked the crap out of someone and let them know about it to their face.

You, on the other hand, are showing up behind a computer and talking trash about them behind their back.

I do not like trash talking.

I like trash talking even less when you bump a guy out of bounds after a nine yard pickup and you're losing.

I also do not like the original post.

Oh no, the rabid mindless fan section is offended by anything these days.. There's no room for questioning anything or civilized discussion. Reminds me of politics..

I wasn't going for clever. I was attempting to be as petty and silly as you. I guess it just went over your head. Sorry about that. I have to remember to keep the target audience in mind.
