He’s too smart to get involved in such nonsense. Would not be surprised if he has been talking to Kiffin privately during all of this. He is a mentor to Kiffin.

I'm sure he's trying to remain neutral so that everybody will be thrilled to have him as interim commissioner after Sankey gets fired.

I'm sure he's been involved with getting the SEC to back down in hopes that the Save College Sports Act can still be passed. No doubt he's been told through back channels from our senators and congressman that if LSU gets punished that the bill is dead on arrival.

You know the tradition of stealing conference members, eliminating rivalry games, and forming conference alignments from coast to coast.

He said he was against pro players on Game Day. He's probably just shaking his head about all the extra going on though, both Kiffin's comment and the over reactions to it.
