Crabbing in Fort Morgan/Gulf Shores

Anyone have any crab honey holes? We’ve been to the weir where we usually have luck, but it’s overrun by gators. I’m trying to take my kiddos somewhere to have a little more success.

Blue Crabs have been hard to come by since the BP spill. Used to catch tons but for a few years now all you get are a few if youre lucky. I have better luck in Little Lagoon or the canals that dump into it.

Is there a public access area for Little Lagoon or the canals around it? We hit the pier this morning for several hours abs caught nada. Might plan to try Bon Secour if possible.
