would just like to chime in my $0.02 worth. I have lost respect for Hillar Moore over this issue...and it has nothing whatsoever to do with an LSU QB or any other LSU athlete.

I would like OUR DA to be a man right now (not a political figure) and stand up and say that this case, a college bar fight, "is the least of my worries right now regardless of the participants". Right now, Baton Rouge is a war zone for criminal activities such as murders (40 or more this year alone), rapes, armed robberies, drug infestations and a multiplicity of other violent crimes that threaten the livability of the very city and parish that we call home. When the violence is cleaned up, or at least brought under control, them maybe the DA can have some time for a college bar fight. Give the participants a summons (if this is proper term) and a fine and let them be on their way. Then maybe the police and DA's office can have additional personnel to attack the cancer that is currently threatening our city.

If Hillar Moore would stand up for this principle, regardless of the participants in the fight, I would respect that and he would have my future vote.
