Debating on going...

You’re late… LA Deer season opened last weekend.

I’m just bitter because I’ll be at work.

I'll probably be making a few squirrel hunts if the seasons open, havent looked at the regs yet. I dont usually deer hunt around the house until I can shoot does.

I’ll be at the camp making a game time decision Friday morning. Mostly going out of curiosity to see what the radish have done in the new plots.

I’m not mad enough at the squirrels this year to hunt. I think I’ll take the time to bush hog and clean up more trails. We are a bit behind bush hogging our pastures too.

I’m just glad the highs of the mid 90s right now don’t feel like the devil’s arse of a couple of weeks ago. The humidity can stay the hell away.

I’m debating on going. I’m mad at them but sitting in the rain always sucks

Edit:

Sitting in the rain always sucks, but sitting in the rain sure beats sitting in the office

I just turned 50, I figure if I’m lucky I have 30 more openings left.
I will open Mississippi Thursday and then Friday morning with my son in La.
Grilled backstrap for supper each night before!!

I do my scouting when I squirrel hunt. I find the acorns really start getting hammered on the 3rd week of October. If I find some hot trees I'll start deer hunting earlier but I enjoy the hell out of my squirrel hunts, especially on cool mornings.
