This happened to me, I had to much oil in it.
What’s your diet like ? I was having the same problem recently after changing my diet and started working out. I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t eating enough, even though I was never hungry. I started purposely eating more and everything got better.

I was recently while on a low calorie diet (about 1700 calories a day). I would wake up 2 or 3 am and not be able to go back asleep. Sometimes I would feel a very slight hunger. I recently started upping my calories and it has gotten much better.
Honestly, you’re playing with fire here. In my opinion the only option is to move it as far away from your house as possible before you wake up dead. Who cares if it’s in the middle of your yard.
Did it for 40 days after laura. I’m still alive. I’ve also seen gasoline spraying on to a 400 degree pump like it was a deluge system and it didn’t catch on fire.
There was a lot of that used after laura, including myself. It seemed to have held up just fine. It’s some tough stuff.
You need really need to let it dry before using it and that will take at least a year depending on thickness. The key to that is sealing it as best you can with anchor seal or latex paint. Just paint both faces nice and thick. But If you really wanted to work with it now, your only option is to seal it as best you can with a polyurethane type finish to seal the end grain and slow the drying process. Even then there will be no guarantees.

It’s a cookie slice ?

Pretty similar to the cost of a new roof. Holy crap.

Maybe pre Laura/ pre COVID. My roof ended up being 16k.

The tarp job was worth it, I didn’t have a single shingle left on my house after laura but somehow had zero water damage due to my felt being completely in tact. So I wanted it tarped as soon as possible to prevent any damage. They used the synthetic felt and covered every square inch.
My 2000 sqft house was $5000 after laura. My insurance had no problem paying it. I was floored too when I saw the bill.
This doesn’t really answer your question but if it makes you feel better, I ran my generac 6500 from Lowe’s for 40 days straight, only shutting it off to change the oil every three days and then turning it right back on.

Please do not put it under your car port or any other roof that is attached to your house. Put it as far away from your house as you can, the rain won’t hurt it.
When it comes to your generator, put it as far away as your cord will let you, and definitely not under the same roof as your house. It’s not just windows you have to worry about, it can also get in your eve vents and into your attic. I heard way too many stories after Laura of people waking up with CO poisoning and almost not making it, including a friend of mine. Regardless of which way you point the exhaust, you can be fine for a week or two and then the winds change and now it’s coming back to your house. For Laura, I ran mine for 43 nights, I put it in the middle of my yard as far the cord would allow, the rain and weather didn’t bother it.

That isn't low carb.

It’s lower than the average western diet. And certainly lower than what I was eating previously.

To answer some other questions, I have had my bloodwork done and a urinalysis and both were fine. I drink a cup of coffee In the morning and pre workout as well and I’ve never worked out past 3 or 4 pm. And yes, I slept great at 220.
I’m 34, 5’8” and 190 pounds (down from 220). I do cardio and strength train 5 days a week. I’ve been upping my carbs and calories this week to try and get some sleep. I was taking in about 1700 to 2000 calories a day and now I’m shooting for about 2200. I drink plenty of water, which is another problem I’m having, I’m pissing every hour at night so I really don’t want to consume any more water than I already am.
Has anyone experienced severe insomnia when switching to a low carb, low calorie diet? I’ve been dieting for three months now and working out for two months and lately I can’t sleep to sleep past 2 or 3 am no matter how worn out I am. Im currently eating about 100 to 150 grams of carbs and roughly 180 to 200 in protein.

Green cypress like that doesn’t have much value considering it takes a year or two to dry. Also, it won’t produce nearly as much usable lumber as you would think so the idea getting someone to make some pieces for you and then taking the left over as payment is far fetched. Considering the work that would be involved with hauling it off to mill it, or milling it on site, then sitting on it for a year or two while it dries or paying someone to kiln dry it and then finally spending countless hours building the things you want only to then be paid with some leftover lumber. It sucks to see mature trees like that go to waste but the only two likely outcomes I see are is you pay the arborist to dispose of it or maybe you can get lucky and someone with a mill will come take it off your hands for free and not charge you for the favor he’s actually doing you.

I have a typical aluminum awning made out of c-channel and they loved to make nests on that c channel. The only way I was able to get rid of them was to cover the channel with what’s called “hardware cloth” and using self tapping screws to secure it. It’s a PITA to do it, but so worth it. They left and never came back.
