2012 Honda Foreman 500 - bluish smoke from muffler

I've never had any issues with the bike doing that, it's got low miles and all I use it for is to literally drive to and from my deer stand and then load it up. I keep it in the garage when I'm not using it at the lease. Well I changed the oil and oil filter in it last week (which I have done before with no issues) and when I unloaded it at the lease and started to my stand, bluish smoke started coming from the muffler. The bike runs fine other than the smoke, so I'm getting frustrated.
Has anyone else had anything similar in experience?
And second question - I'm trying to keep from brining it in until after deer season, would doing so mess anything up?
TIA

check oil level and smell it, odds are high the carb is flooding and filled the engine crankcase with gas
same thing happens with lawn mowers too, you need to clean the carburetor and make sure its no longer flooding, then.....
DO NOT RUN IT UNTIL YOU CHANGE THE OIL AND FILTER

10-4 and thank you. I changed the oil and filter AGAIN yesterday afternoon, but with similar results when I drove it around afterwards.

If it has low tension rings and you use a heavy oil it will smoke.

Hmmm I will have to check on that. As far as the oil, I used the below:

Did you perhaps overfill it with oil ?

That's what I thought maybe initially, but after checking the level after each oil change, it's right where it should be.

Does the oil smell like gasoline? Have you used the exact same oil each time you changed it?

I'll have to smell it again, but I think so kinda sorta.

Yes

If the oil smells like gas, the carb is leaking, and the blue smoke is some of the oil burning off during combustion.

Thank you! I'll double check the smell this afternoon, but this might be the case.

Don’t screw the dip stick when checking the oil level. Are you sure at any point you didn’t put the oil filter in backwards?

It’s a Honda, fill her up with oil and check the gas.

The 2012 Foreman wasn’t fuel injected?
Need to isolate any changes. Changing oil and filter is the obvious one. Did you run it immediately before the oil change and it smoked immediately after? Or was it sitting for a few months?

Mine smoked for years, still does.

I believe it is fuel injected. 12 I think was the first year.

No, I had been running it for a while. Not at the time of the change, but the day before, etc. Went from not smoking to smoking right after the oil change. I was thinking maybe a valve is stuck.

When you say the ring is worn, which one? Can it be fixed/replaced? I don't mind it smoking a little, I just don't want the smell to affect my deer hunting lol
