re: This is the dumbest most over reactive shite ever

The issue is hospital capacity not the lethality of covid 19.
20% of those infected have to be hospitalized.
If it spreads rapidly, the hospitals are overwhelmed and have to chose between a covid patient that can’t breath or a heart attack victim.
Our hospitals don’t have much excess capacity.
China had to frantically build new hospitals to accommodate the surge.
LINK
Again, it’s about capacity to serve the 20% of infected people needing hospital care. No one is confusing covid 19 with Ebola which kills half of the infected patients.

Urban Meyer learned the spread from Linehan.

The cowboys offense was a beating to watch his last years there. But he was once an innovative aggressive up and comer..

Maybe we get the boring arse cowboys coach. Maybe we get the coach teaching cutting edge offense to Urban Meyer. I think we’re about to find out..

Agreed.
McFadden scared me.
Cam Newton scared me. No one could tackle him.
In the Tebow days, when Florida would spread us out wide then they had Tebow as a power rushing option and Rainey and Demps as ridiculous speed options. (Not to mention the Harvin days.) That freaked me out. There was no good way to defend them.

I looked under the help section and didnt see any instructions.
LINK - Rich Eisen Interview with Burrow
Another one!
This one is with Rich Eisen. Looks like he walked from one dans studio to this one.
I like this one better than the one with Dan Patrick.
Eisen seems more genuinely curious about Joe and appreciates how he progressed to where he is now.
He also seems to appreciate that Joe’s directness about his ability was forged amongst years of people passing him over and doubting him.

Give the great Jacob Hester some love

Hester has a YouTube channel. Hangin’ with Hester.
I think he’s just getting it started as he has about 150 subscribers. We need to get that number up!
He’s got some great interviews. Like the one with Kelvin Sheppard or this new one with Kyle Williams.
LINK
He also interviews recruiting guys with good info..
If you can, subscribe to his channel. The guy is a legend and you’re gonna get sent some really great content when you subscribe.

Why post?
Because there was information that was new (or I had forgotten) to me and possibly to others here about Pelinis style of defense.
Namely, that he dictates to offenses what they can do. Largely through blitzing. He asks a lot of the strong safety position (he mentioned laron Landry and chad Jones and Craig Steltz as examples) and that Jacoby Stevens will have a big year. Listening to him makes me think of Venables and Isaiah Simmons.
He also said that Pelini won’t go to a 4-3 year one. He will run a 3-4 until the personnel allows him to run a 4-3.
Lastly, the guy loves coach Pelini.

Building next phase of pick your poison
Posted by Nepomo on 1/27/20 at 10:29 am
Part of what made 2019 offense impossible to defend was the breadth of the weapons. 5+ options were dangerous and could hurt them badly, 2+ We’re lethal and could take over a game. Probably 3+
Opposing teams may have a star CB they can put on our #1 (which didn’t work in 2019) or they may double team someone, but they can’t account for everyone. Particularly once they start getting to their second and third CB on a dangerous WR, safety on our TE, and linebacker on our rb...
In the post Chase, Marshall era we will have:
Boutte, Adams, Gilbert, Moore and now Bradford
Add to that Palmer, Lee and our young RBs.
Boutte, Adams, Bradford, Palmer, Lee and Emery can take one the distance on ANY given play.
Gilbert is a walking mismatch as a possession target. Moore a great possession target as well.
Looks like the staff is creating pick your poison part 2 . If this crop materializes, we are going to be extremely difficult to defend.

LOVE having this kind of homerun threat! So dangerous for opposing defenses.
Seems like we’ve had a lot of bigger guys who could break one and take it to the the house, but who was the last, if you give him a crease, he’s gone... RB that we’ve had?

re: Looking back now, was the Ole Miss game the most blown out of proportion game ever?

We got dropped out of #1 ranking due to that game because our defense “wasn’t a championship defense”. The d took it as a personal challenge to prove the doubters wrong. They did so in spades. Was badass to see them rise to the challenge.
Yes!
We just beat bama at bama.

He talks about his approach at LSU at 6:44.
Interesting how his focus is on figuring out what the players do best first and building a system around what they do best instead of having a predetermined formula.
Seems wise beyond his years.
