LSU is not abandoning the spread.

CTFO.
If LSU didn’t abandon the spread/pass game on 3rd and 17 at Texas they’re not abandoning it now.
Coach O didn’t get shite stomped by Alabama in 2018, to move to the spread, then pack it in and go back to the Stone Age after single season. He loves his job to much to let his ego get in the way.
The dude makes 8 million dollars a year to Coach football when you can barely crack six figures at your day job. This OBVIOUSLY isn’t anyone here’s first choice, and we were obviously going to regress on offense next year no matter what.
But until you see LSU coming out under center, playing clock, and only running 3 route plays/max protect, please relax. You will see the same plays and concepts next year. 2019 will never happen again, but the mentality that created 2019 is here to stay.
If Bama can have a prolific offense with an alcoholic NFL reject, LSU can with Slinger, and any PGC.

Coach O has earned, earned! our Trust!
Period.
Prior to his hire O said, he was looking to build on our the spread, new ideas, to keep growing..."primarily looking at guys in the NFL"
IN short, we're not changing our offense. Why would we?
LOL

I’ll be honest, I dont Disagree with you, but this makes no sense.
Even less miles would have passed the ball on 3/17.

I'll be surprised if we score a point against Bama next season.

Yep. O isn’t asking this guy to come in and install a new offense like Brady. He’s just asking him to bring NFL concepts, route trees, etc with him.

We never ran a spread offense to begin with

You must have been 6 years old or really drunk during the Les games.
I literally cannot count how many times we ran the ball into a brick wall on 3rd and long with Les to make the opponent burn their TO and for us to punt.
Then we would sweat it out for one final drive on defense. That was literally how every big game went with Les most years.
Often to lose on some freak play to the likes of an Arkansas-tier or some other trash.

OMG. We’re doomed. We’re screwed.
You girls calm down for fricks sake.

hope you're trolling. Otherwise, this post makes you sound incredibly douchey.
Bama is NOT the powerhouse they've been in years past....just in case you haven't noticed.

When you try to justify a person's decision by relying on how much he makes as proof he must be right.

No he wouldn’t have! He woulda punted and relied on the Defense to win the game.

In case you didn’t know, but salaries are tied to results. Results being the proof. Thanks for playing though.

That’s how I knew he didn’t watch any games back then.

I was with you until this. Has nothing to do with anything and is just as weak and stupid as everyone panicking about the hire. Welcome to LSU, Scott. Get to work.

... ok, but not really.
Dude. Every close game we had with Les was us running the ball under 4 minutes, making them burn time outs, then punting and playing defense, while dying of cardiac arrest.
What alternate universe did you fall out of?
