Other than Saban, name the another SEC coach that striked fear in your heart?

If I had a young, attractive daughter I would have said Petrino, Freeze, and Kiffin.

I was too young to care about coaches during Spurrier's time at Florida, but he would probably be the only one in my lifetime other than Saban. Urban Meyer, maybe, but LSU was 3-3 against him.

Even coaches who beat LSU more than once didn't really strike fear. It was more annoyance. Gus, Freeze, Bert, etc weren't intimidating, it was moreso being pissed and annoyed at LSU losing to inferior programs.

spurrier's teams were a damn nightmare for this program to play against

i remember that UF squad coming in 2001 in Saban's second year with grossman, jacobs and them just straight up shellacking us. that was gross.

the turnaround that very year was so impressive though.

Spurrier did until that fateful night when Faulk and company took care of business. Damn that was a Beautiful Game! But after that, there's no one else

Les Miles. Never knew if he was going to pull a miracle out of his arse, or if we would do something pretty illogical to lose a game
