The worst part is where it says fun size. What is fun about making candy smaller?

But it this week on clearance, save it for next year.

ETA are all of you so young you never had grandparents that lived through the depression? Or for you sissies, buy clearance Halloween candy and use it during Christmas, etc.

Candy (and almost everything else) gets slightly cheaper with time. You’re noticing the dollar getting weaker.

Csb. When I worked at party city candy was the number one theft item.

Bulk bags for Halloween are always marked way up, why wouldn’t it be?

I told my kids last night that the candy they get is way better than what we got as kids. They didn’t get a single tootsie roll or Smarties or chick o stick or any other garbage we used to get. They’re getting sour patch kids, Twix, and other top tier fun size candies, plus several houses were giving away Sam’s sized candy or tubs of cotton candy

Is cotton candy more or less expensive?

Check the size and weight of what you get at Albertson’s now vs what you would get 15 years ago. Huge difference. Those birds are tiny now.

Sam’s and Costco birds are still big breasted though

Candy, ice cream, soda etc… should be bought on sale to maximize value.

I remember getting homemade candied apples and caramel apples when I was a kid in the 70’s and 80’s

To make up for the “teen” thieves, no doubt…

Again, we have to pay for everything…

We spent $125-150 at Costco and we had maybe 15 pieces left. We had tons of kids.

Ah jeez I sure do wish they would lower the cost of poison. You know that thing that leads to obesity, diabetes and many other health issues? Yeah, let’s go ahead and make that more reasonably priced.
