I loved Ledger as The Joker. I never really cared much for villains prior to that, but I found myself actually cheering for him in The Dark Knight. His performance was exceptional.


That said, I feel like Phoenix took things to an even greater level with his portrayal.

Can’t believe no one has mentioned Gris Gris. That’s my favorite place on Magaxine at the moment.

Saw it again yesterday, and noticed something strange; maybe I’m looking too far into it.

When he enters the neighbor’s apartment, he had just come in from a storm. It was dark outside, and he was soaking wet. But when she comes out and tells him to please leave, and that he dayghter’s aaleep in the other room, there’s a bright light (appears to be sunlight) shining in through one of the windows, while everything else in the apartment is dark (with the exception of the tv screen).

The sequence where he tells Murray that he’s horrible, and then shoots him, and his facial expressions both before and after, are all-time classic.

I’m in my 40s and I thank God every day for my rich, thick, Fabio-esque mane that women even envy. I’m so vain that I don’t know what I would have done if my hair started falling out.

In my opinion, Sammy’s is the most overrated restaurant in the BR area. Well, other than Pastime.

I said earlier that I’d bet they were gonna keep Rollins off TV tonight. Just prolonging the inevitable.

Now those aren’t bad at all. The ones in the OP are horrid.

I know some people who like Bao, but I find it to be pretty bland and mediocre. In BR I go to Dang’s. I get either pho or hieu tieu, along with a banh mi sandwich. A bite of sandwich, a bite of soup... doesn’t get much better.
