Got a cousin talked into making a road trip to play them. Are they as good as I’ve heard they are?

Sweetens Cove is awesome. Some friends and I made the drive from Nashville and tee'd off at 7:30am and walked 27 holes. It was a great golf experience. Course is always in great shape. Its only a 9 hole track but the greens are huge and fast with two pins. Its a course built for guys who just want to go play golf all day long. There is no clubhouse, no bar, no food. Sometimes they have food trucks but you can bring anything and everything out there. I cant recommend it enough.

I've got a buddy that played TR this week. Said it's a top 3 course he has played and he has played more top courses than anyone I know.

Are you serious?

If you don’t want to go, I’ll fill in.

Absolutely, bucket list courses.

TR is awesome. I played it a couple years ago and it’s a blast. It’s also going to be the most unique course you’ll ever play with its layout and crazy hole designs.

Probably my favourite course. If you can, swing by Royal New Kent in Va, another Stranz gem that was just restored. There's also another course in NC but I haven't had a chance to play.

While he is going to Sweetens, he needs to swing over to Sawanee...An incredible 9 hole course.

We have time for at least one more course. That one is on my list. Also Aiken golf course in South Carolina. Hopefully we can squeeze two or three more in. Will just have to wait and see how much time we have.

Tobacco Road is probably one of the best courses I've ever played. Very challenging but it doesn't matter because the course is so cool. Would rather play there than the Pinehurst courses, which are about 10 min down the road.

This, My buddies and I tried to schedule a day earlier this summer and it was booked solid through the end of September at the time.
