Comparing 2004 OSU to 2020 LSU
Posted by dorseyforheisman on 4/25/20 at 5:54 pm
OSU had 7 of their 14 drafted after round 3
LSU had 10 of their 14 drafted in Rounds 1-3. 12 of their 14 drafted in Rounds 1-4.
While 14 guys is impressive either way, this years LSU draft class trumps that 2004 class easily.

But that’s what flattening of the curve refers to, so I’m missing your point

Have you ever watched Clyde play? Darren Sproles? Are you kidding me? This couldn’t be further from reality
re: why do I feel the Nov 9th outcome wont matter

It matters. We can all try to downplay it or not accept it, but we NEED to beat Bama. End of story.
re: Will Kyler Murray give us big problems?
Posted by dorseyforheisman on 10/25/19 at 10:24 am to lionward2014
The ends are going to pass rush the same way they did against Minshew. Up the field and hold position, keeping him in the pocket. If he beats us as a pocket passer, we’ve got issues.

Cassel also went 10-5 in 2008 and then did it again in KC 2 years later

Davenport has been doing this all year
re: Who gave us 3-1 at this point without Drew

I thought going 2-2 through this stretch with Drew would be a win
re: Burrow NFL Comparison

He’s not built like a lot of guys in the league now. I’d say the closest comparison would be Eli Manning. He also reminds me of a little thinner Drew Bledsoe.
re: How much meddling in his offense will Brady tolerate?

It’s comical the amount of dipshits that think running the ball is the only way to control the clock in football.
re: Minkah Fitz to Steelers for a 1st

Maybe they planned on going CB in the 1st and determined that Fitzpatrick was better than any option they could have gotten. Sometimes they think these trades through

Says who? CEH had 5.8 ypc last night and was picking up the UT pass rush all night long. What else would you like? You people always want what is next instead of just enjoying the now.
re: Report from Austin

I think they days of “letting the defense win games” is gone. The other 2 cliches go along with any other game in the history of football. That said, the whole basis of an RPO offense is to take what the defense is giving you on every play, so it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we come out run heavy. If you can eat clock, get on the board a few times early, and be stout of defense, you can get a team out ot their gameplan very quickly.
