re: Bar Where Chicken Shites on a Number
Posted by Drake870 on 12/5/20 at 7:26 pm
Chicken Drop Lounge, used to be on Salt Bayou Rd in Slidell. Been gone since Katrina
They used to stick a short straw up the chicken’s arse and let some lucky patron blow air up there and that would make the chicken $hit. Good times!...

Riding in those rear facing back seats was the best. Basically eye to eye with people at red lights, motioning to them to honk their horns. Good times! ...
re: Is the Yet Bucket a joke?
Posted by Drake870 on 10/1/20 at 4:48 pm
If you think YETI buckets are ridiculous, check these out. $40 bucket are for poor folks compared to $120 buckets.
However, I know a way you can get one of these buckets for FREE.
All you have to do is buy a $750K Freeman Boat and they throw it in. Freeman is sooo stupid giving these away for ...
re: How far out is weather predictable for fishing etc??
Posted by Drake870 on 9/21/20 at 7:45 pm
When I look at the wind/weather forecast early in the week for a Saturday fishing trip I almost want it to be bad. Whatever they’re saying on Monday is guaranteed not to be the actual conditions on Saturday. I know it’s hard not to obsess over the forecast but I usually don’t put much credence into...

This is not true, Sweden isn’t done. They will continue to outpace their neighboring countries in both cases and deaths. ...
re: Sweden is still done with COVID
Posted by Drake870 on 8/10/20 at 2:21 pm
Norway 250 COVID Deaths
Finland 330 Deaths
Sweden 5700+ Deaths
Yeah, I’d say lockdowns worked better but don’t let facts get in the way of your opinion ...

re: We have more black panther believers than I realized
Posted by Drake870 on 8/4/20 at 10:10 am
If they existed, a "black panther" would've been picked up by a trail cam by now. However, as we all know, a Squatch knows to walk behind trail cameras to avoid detection. ...

re: Any word on AJs and Snapper?
Posted by Drake870 on 4/29/20 at 8:30 am
Even if you’re catching fish, leave when you spot storms on the horizon. They get real bad, real fast. I’ve seen one distant dark cloud turn into a sky full of blackness in a eerily short amount of time. My other tip would be to invest in a rig hook, much easier and safer than tying up to a rig. ...
re: The Bug-A-Salt
Posted by Drake870 on 4/5/20 at 9:52 am
I have one and it’s fun as hell to shoot flies with. Moths and exoskeleton bugs need a few rounds pumped into them to be taken down. I would not recommend shooting into a nest of wasps, won’t end well. I bought mine for the flies that are seemingly always attracted when I use my smoker. Also got min...

re: New gun store in madisonville???
Posted by Drake870 on 1/16/20 at 10:58 pm
LA Guns is relocating from “downtown” Madisonville out to Hwy 22. I don’t know of any shooting range but they are increasing their square footage significantly. They have a small selection of guns/ammo and a few accessories. Nice guys and definitely worth stopping in. ...

re: What's going on with the NRA?
Posted by Drake870 on 5/2/19 at 7:53 am
I finally quit supporting them after doing it for many years. They are responsible for spreading more fear and propaganda than even the “Zion controlled liberal media.” According to the NRA, G-men are outside of your house ready to burst in and take your guns. Also, the number of emails that they in...
re: Is Sitka worth the money?
Posted by Drake870 on 1/30/19 at 11:08 am
I recommend looking at Midway USA’s branded gear. They have low end stuff to higher end fleece and wool and the quality is second to none. I have a pair of bibs and a jacket that I promise are as warm as anything you’ll find. Buying after the season can result in some good deals and anyone who’s eve...
