**Live Draft** Live Slow Draft on TigerDroppings - comments welcome
Posted on 7/21/26 at 7:07 am
Posted on 7/21/26 at 7:07 am
We will be drafting live here on TigerDroppings and absorbing whatever criticism comes from the peanut galley.
Mostly standard Sleeper scoring.
The whole point of this league is to have fun while also giving the board an idea of how players fall in an actual draft. Mock drafts can be unreliable as people don’t take them seriously, and ADP at this point is skewed by Best Ball.
Rosters will consist of QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex, Flex, and 6 bench. We’ll allow 2 IR slots for players listed as out only.
Standard Sleeper PPR scoring...full PPR, 4 pt passing TDS, 6 pt rush/receiving TDs, 1 point per 25 passing yards, 1 point per 10 rushing/receiving yards, -1 per interception, -2 per fumble lost, etc.
We will play head-to-head, but will play an extra game against the median. Basically, that means the top 6 highest scorers each week get an extra win, and the bottom 6 get an extra loss. To me, it's the best of both worlds as you get the fun/randomness of head-to-head, but it takes away from the sting of being the 2nd highest scoring team and losing to the highest scoring team.
All participants, please turn on notifications for Sleeper so we can ping you when it's your turn.

Already have some Bijan stock so time to diversify and grab possibly the better back
Gib me some Gibbs

AURX on the clock. I'll try to update the thread title with who is OTC if they don't draft immediately, in case they stumble across that before getting a Sleeper notice somehow.

So, I get Bijan or Chase. Drafting top 3 is easy this year.
Posted on 7/21/26 at 8:43 am to TigerLunatik
I've only done a few mocks, but I definitely like drafting from the front end this year. I feel like when I get to the 2nd round, there are 10 or so guys that I'm pretty even on so I'd much rather have Gibbs or Bijan and my #10 guy in the 2nd than to have a lesser 1st rounder and my #1 guy in the 2nd. Plus you get a much better 3rd rounder.

I've done some at the back end of the first round like with picks 9, 10 and so on. I've gotten some teams that I've liked there. But, I would agree that so far from what I've seen, I would rather be in the top 5.

Seems the draft actually starts with my pick at #4 this year. CMac, JSN and Puka seem the most common choices, with some sprinkles of CeeDee, Taylor and Amon-Ra.
Posted on 7/21/26 at 9:06 am to SaintTigerPel
I've seen people take Puka at 2 and 3 in plenty mocks so far. You just never know.

Those people are smart. You should follow their lead! J/k. - I guess I’m giving away what will happen next, but I have Chase and Puka almost dead even. I was hoping for one of the 2 RB’s to fall to 4, but that hope died quickly.

My bad, I didn’t realize the Chase pick was official. I’ll take Puka Nukua please.
