Briles is a danger to the ethics of our program which highly affects recruiting!

Lsu is going scorched earth per Ponamsky's Art of Tiger War. Have to get Briles.

If O is serious about going to a spread then I think the top 3 should be
1. Todd Monken
2. Art Briles
3. Chip Lindsey
All of those names brings instant credibility to the offense.

But, what offense does he run?

yes
His Pitt offense averaged 42 points per game this year, lighting up Clemson’s outstanding defense and then dropping 76 points on Syracuse in the finale. Canada runs more of a run-oriented, power type of spread offense that rushed for more than 220 yards per game this season, but still coaxed a strong year out of Tennessee castoff Nathan Peterman at quarterback. He also led the Northern Illinois offense with Jordan Lynch in 2012 when the Huskies crashed the BCS in the Orange Bowl. Canada’s style is creative and utilitarian, playing with different unbalanced sets and other ways to gain blocking advantages.

Love that it appears to be the spread with an emphasis om the run game. I would be real excited if this is our guy.

He really kinda makes me think he is the offensive version of aranda they are both very mythotical

So apparently you read ATVS, or you have the same mind/sources that they do?
Posted on 11/28/16 at 9:39 pm to TheRecruit

I would agree, only thing is Monken loves the NFL and hates recruiting plus he is getting 2.1 mill a year at Tampa Bay.
Briles has baggage that will be in our face for a while.
Lindsey is the guy...Great at QB development, runs a spread O than you can run out of. Had a 4600 passing yd QB with two 1000 yd rushers in a season. Probably be here 5 or more years before being considered for power 5 coaching job.He is from Alabama so could probably swing a few recruits from there, successful high school career in Georgia which would have contacts in Georgia high schools....He is the guy!!
