Anyone know Chandler Rome?

Heard him on the radio today in Lafayette, he was giving really great updates and insights on the Tigers. Seems to know as much about current LSU baseball team as anyone.
He works for the advocate, and went to LSU. Don't know much about him except that he's a really young, but up and coming reporter. Will take him over Klienpeter any day.

He sucks.
I miss delly doing baseball. Never thought I'd say that a year ago. But he grew on me throughout the season.

I agree with you 100%. He's a former reveille reporter taught to be a hipster and hate all things LSU. You can tell he thinks covering baseball is beneath him. Delly didn't know much about the game. But he was fun and seemed to enjoy what he did. Had some fun back on forth with him on twitter a few times.

The first time he did it, he was being a prick. Then he realized he got some attention doing it, so now it's some type of "look at me" bullshite he does every game because it makes him feel edgy. I hate him.

You're reaching man. The guy is really good on radio one fact or observation after another. I like hearing people talk LSU baseball but it's usually big picture stuff. He was into the details.
Sorry I started the tread. I like him, you guys don't. But we have certainly seen worse.

Like Rome or not, but when I gave up on 104.5 streaming the PC at about 2:24pm, I scanned Twitter and he was streaming it live on Periscope. Watched it live through that and then to be quite honest, he was furiously and thoroughly relaying Johnny Jones' live and direct bed-shitting routine almost verbatim via Twitter.
Don't know him from Adam but he's in my Twitter Stream for LSU-related content and I don't pick up an anti-LSU or zhipster vibe from him.

We are talking about two different things, IMO. To be good at his job, he has to know the ins and outs of the team. He's paid to watch every pitch of every game as well as cover practices and question coaches and players. So of course, he'll have some good insight. But that doesn't mean he has to like covering it. And maybe it's just the twitter portion that he dislikes, but that's his interface to most of his audience. He needs to do a better job there of seeming interested/invested.

On TD, I use a ton of rhetoric and sarcasm. I don't really hate Rome. And I don't really love KRob. That's more of inside joke with a friend who was his only fan for two years and isn't around anymore to show him love.

He's actually pretty good with Gymnastics.
I'll give an example. When it was fall ball, and he was live tweeting scrimmages, it came off like he was extremely bored. And maybe he was; maybe he wasn't. But I had not clue what was going on during the scrimmage 70% of the time following him because he was tweeting about random crap going on outside of the game. Thank goodness for Tigers in the Minors. She's a great follow.
