Brilliance in Diamonds, a diamond broker in Metairie. You won’t regret it.

Where in Maurepas? I’m not aware of a proposed subdivision, especially in a swamp.

United Rentals does a good job of securing contracts with the big players, so if you’re in a decent territory, it’s easy money. They have a reputation for poor quality and service, but so does Walmart & Dollar General, and I don’t think they’re struggling for business.
As a LSU fan, I would actually like to see Bama make the playoffs. If CEO can keep this thing going, there will be some epic LSU/Bama battles over the next few years. I think we’ll win some, but lose some as well. If we disqualify Bama this season for not winning the SEC, what argument will LSU have for making the playoffs if our only loss is a close one to Bama?
Saban just ordered this kid a new Dodge Charger Power Wheel.

I tip $1, but I don’t think they’re supposed to receive tips. Once, when I paid with my card and didn’t have a dollar on me, I asked the server why I couldn’t just add the tip to my card payment. She told me if tips were reported, her hourly wage would be reduced.
My nephew was driving his Jeep down a lane in his school’s parking lot. Another student was running across the parking lot, perpendicular to my nephew’s Jeep, and t-boned my nephew. The student had a few minor bumps and bruises, but was ok. He put a small dent on the Jeep and my brother had it repaired at his own expense. Since it happened on school property, the school called the police to report the incident. In the police report, the student accepted full responsibility bc he didn’t look for an oncoming vehicle before running across the lane, and according to my nephew and witnesses, he wasn’t speeding. A few months later, State Farm notifies my brother he was being sued by the students family. He pleaded with State Farm to not settle since the student admitted he was at fault and he was worried it was cause his premium to rise, but State Farm told him it would be much easier to settle. I think the student’s family settled for just under $50k.
re: Anyone ever been to a Dollar General Store? Is it like a poor's Walmart?

In 2015, I sold property to the firm who builds, then leases the buildings to Dollar General. At that time, they had plans to build over three hundred stores in Louisiana over the next five years.

Avg is 12k-15k a year. I'm not saying its good, I just don't understand this idea that you can drive the piss out of a truck for 120k miles and not have any issues? Maybe this guy is rare, but most guys that put 30k miles a year on a vehicle don't baby it. They don't have the time to baby it, they are always driving.
I take very good care of my company vehicle. Before I started driving a company vehicle, I used my personal truck (F150) and took the allowance. Had 265k miles on it before I replaced the ball joints.

Company truck is a 2019 RAM 1500 4WD. Radio went out two weeks ago and the dealership called last week to tell me the new radio won’t be in for another two weeks. Previous company vehicle was a 2016 RAM 1500 and was probably in the shop a dozen times with electrical and suspension issues. 99% was highway miles, and at 120k miles, control arm and ball joints were shot. I’m currently driving a rental, which is a 2019 F150. If I had to choose between the two, I’d take the Ford.
re: Guys. How do you feel you measure up to your dad as a man

My mom, my brothers and I have always come first and I have never doubted that once in 44 years. Hardest working man I’ve ever known. While raising four sons, I can’t think of even one nice thing he ever did for himself. Didn’t get his first new truck until he retired and we were on our own, but my brothers and I had new vehicles in high school, which makes me nauseous to think about. Even though all four of his sons have very successful careers, we still have to sneak away to ask a waiter to add his and my mom’s meal to our bill lol. Can’t think of one thing I’d change about him.

I take prescription Adderall. Every time I’ve done a random drug screen, whether hair or urine, the lab has called for me to submit proof that it is prescribed.

A large walk-in pantry with a countertop along one wall for microwave, toaster, and other small appliances. Frees up a lot of space in kitchen and very convenient.
I was as big a Papierski fan as anyone, but I don’t think he holds a candle to Gibbs or Scivicque. Look at their lists of achievements. Gibbs’ and Scivicque’s far outweigh Papierski’s 2017 SEC Academic Honor Roll. I understand he was stellar behind the plate, but it’s not like the other two were scrubs. In fact, if you ever run across Lange, ask him if he had more trust in Scivicque or Papierski. I suspect his answer will surprise many of you.

I got a 1979 115 evinride that would be great for it but just not sure if I would be up to swapping it and doing the cleanup.
A 115 Evinrude is what he had on it. I figured the boat would be great for someone with an old motor laying around or someone who might just want to throw a trolling motor on it to fish a small lake.

Free to good home. My uncle bought it new and I’m surprised to see it in this condition. It was garage kept and he babied this thing my entire childhood. Several years ago, he pulled off the motor and moved it to this covered shed. Said he doesn’t have the heart to just scrap it, so if anyone is interested, you can have it. He has all the paperwork. There isn’t a weak spot anywhere on the boat. Transom is solid. Boat is in Maurepas.
