If so, do you enjoy it? What do you not like? Anything they don't tell you before starting? Did you get to pick your location? Educate me.

I probably will not take the job, but I was offered a year ago and the thing that really interests me is the being able to move to another state. I have other options but they reached out to me today to check in.

Thanks

You don't get to choose. 97.2% of the time, they choose to PIIYB

You’ve had a standing job offer for a year? That’s impressive

I'm in school. They offered it to me when I was a Junior. They said that they wanted to be the first one to offer me a job.

Al you’re going to have to do is pass out notepads, calendars and pens, then log all your sales calls in a sales program. They will track your every move and give you quotas to meet.

As an entry level sales rep for These large rental companies one such as United rentals they will not give you the best territory they will probably give you one of the worst territories to see if you can build it up.

The first question I would ask is what’s the turnover rate for salesman in the specific territory they give you

That's the shitty part. They do not tell you what territory you are in until after you accept the offer and get done with training.

That is probably why I will not take the job. Although, the guy who offered me the job asked what my top 5 cities would be. He said he could almost "guarantee" that he could get me in one of those cities.

What division will you be selling for?

United is so big now they’ve bought up so many different companies they have several different divisions.

"Special Projects."
Where I will have to be "on site" to cater to events with needs of generators, lights, etc.

I wouldn’t work for a company that did this, it’s petty outdated ideology. “We want people that put the company first”. Bs, you are living in the 1980s. No one worth a damn gives a damn about bending over backward for a company by living in a shithole during their prime of their life.
