Going with a group next weekend. Has anyone ever been? Looks quiet compared to Panama City.

Very quiet. If you like absolutely nothing except sitting on a beach then you should live it. Michael did it a favor with regard to updated accommodations.

Haven't been through there since the post-Michael repairs were complete. It's always been a quiet, modest beach town. No high rises. Not much in the way of restaurants, etc. But Port St. Joe is right down the road.

Mexico Beach
St. Joe Beach
Port St. Joe
Cape San Blas

All quite little beach towns with moderate tourism. I hope it stays that way...

It’s much quieter than PCB. There’s not a lot of restaurants. It’s mostly houses and condos. After Michael, they replaced all the smaller beach cottages with the 2/3 story houses you see along the coast. Killer Seafood is a good local spot that came back after the storm.

Port St. Joe and Apalachicola are nearby. Some cool restaurants and bars there.
