Ice is about 4 inches thick here. That pretty much ends the duck huntin up here. It was awesome before it iced up though

Would love to be going, but the vaginas in the state did so much whining last year because it "opened too early" and they weren't killing birds it's closed. The fact that every low lying area from S Dakota to Venice was flooded and it never got below freezing had nothing to do with it. Lost a couple extra weeks of hunting in the process.

Thanks JBE

Haha. I've lived in the south my whole life till last August. I got tired of the heat. The cold ain't bad, below 20 degrees you can't tell a difference, it's just cold. Hope y'all kill a bunch down there. I spanked em good up here lol

i went on a tar sands project around cold lake Alberta, I have to agree with you. When the high on a 6 day stretch is 1, it really doesn't matter at that point.

Been the best first split for us in many years. We'll be without water must of second split on our lease on coast. I'll have to resort to shooting ringnecks on our freshwater marsh.

Southeast Arkansas here. Last two days have been surprisingly very slow. Watched thousands on our spots Wednesday and last week but the front Wednesday night blew them out. Somebody picked up a pile from here.

Probably south LA... Too bad the we are sitting here watching and waiting. Here's to high hopes the 2nd split brings much more success than the first.

Drove all the way to Tyler, tx yesterday. Aside from a few geese around bunkie and a few birds at desoto parish line, nada in the fields I usually see them in.
