Matrix work well and they are cheap. Cant go wrong, use generic jig heads.

I'm a believer in them since last year. Used two of them all day Sunday and out fished others 3-1 and they were using live shrimp

Try those fairly new vudu shrimp as well. They seem to work really well for the limited amount of time I used them.

I like the Vudu Shrimp a lot, however they have somewhat weak hooks. I had a big fish (never saw it) all but straighten one out. If you're hunting specks, Vudu will be fine.

I use matrix a lot. My go to color is typically the purple "midnight mullet".

I used to think the same. The Goldeneye jigheads with the black hooks are the best I've ever used. Very strong hooks and the head holds the bait better . Other jigheads I used to use the fish kept "pulling my pants down".

Awesome.

I will say the Voodoo shrimp caught fish when other baits wouldn't this weekend.

They were undersized fish reacting to to cork but whatever.
