100% correct. The US only had 2 shots on goal the entire game, and 1 of them was a free kick. The ridiculous rules cause FAR TOO LITTLE OFFENSE. Tweak the rules, especially offsides, and get average scoring of around 5-4. Then soccer would become watchable.

I became a true soccer fan after watching a family member play for a high level club and then started watching the Premier League. There is a reason the US does not have many players in the Premier League, they are on a different level.
