Isn’t going on the field trespassing? I understand you can’t stop 70k people but once you cross that line, you give up what happens once you’re there. Getting hit by a falling goal post etc

I don't think he was totally in the wrong here, but with nil contracts these players definitely need to be careful with what they do. They are paid professionals now, not "student-atheltes", so they are subject to different rules now.

I want to know how the person who videoed this knew to zoom in on Thomas vs all the other players and people in view!?

You take the video, then you “edit” it by zooming in. Then you post it. Unless they have special super powers that lets them know the future.

Its part of the tradition of college football. I ran on the field when LSU beat MSU 38-31 in OT when Wayne Madkin was the QB. Rohan and Reed went off that night. That said, I did not get near an MSU player. But I have common sense. I can relate to the player. He just poured months of work into this season and was probably frustrated. And here comes a drunk 175 frat boy yelling pig soooie in my face? yeah, I would have body slammed him too.

Someone admitting to running on the field after their team beating Mississippi State might be the most hilarious thing I have heard in years! We are closer to Vanderbilt than we are most SEC schools in our football history.

2000. State, bama, and Tennessee. There was no reason against state except we didn’t think saban would have us winning games like a ranked state team and Tennessee. Bama sucked but it was the first time in 31 years.

Fan ran onto the field and touched the player first. Vol had every right to do that.

He has nothing to apologize for. That kid wasn't supposed to be on the field in the first place. Everyone cheers when one person runs on the field and get knocked down by security, but 10,000 people run on the field and he's the bad guy for pushing one away from him?
