Makes sense. 120 teams. 100 players per team. That's 12,000 players. Multiply by 500 that's $6 million. The video game sells 2 to 3 million copies a year. So that's $2 to $3 of every game going to NIL. The game only costs $70. The profit maybe $20. So players getting 10 to 20% of their profits.

A flat rate may be equal, but is it fair? Should there be a different payout for starters? Or for teams in the preseason top 25? Or blueblood programs that generate the most interest?

Sure, there are 129 teams, but how many people buy the game to be Alcorn State?

Agree. make the players all 00 and allow the user to modify. That's what most people did in 2014 anyway. Other than the numbers it wasn't really that accurate.

The legal argument they made against that is everyone knows who the starting QB rated at 92 is for School A and simply giving him a 00 jersey number does not mean they are still not using his likeness. Sure you would get some guys that nobody could really identify but the big name guys were pretty obvious.

College sports have been ruined for a decade. It’s just now being done in the light. Money(greed) eventually ruins all things. You can blame billion dollar TV contracts and the amount of money these players bring into the university compared to 20 years ago. I believe it should be regulated but these young men deserve money. How much is the tough question. I’m just frustrated the NCAA isn’t paying anyone, it’s the boosters/schools.

Sounds like it was easy to maintain and regulated when it was free education, food and board. But if course the weak minded got the feels when hearing stories about players unable to go to the movies or go out to eat, as if other non-athletic students were dealing with the same situations.

College sports have been ruined, so either find a way to make it a legit seni-pro org or go back to what worked. Frick these kids for whining as they live high on the hog on campus.
