What’s the best lounge at DFW and how much to get there?

I’ve never travelled enough to use a lounge but we’re traveling in 10 days and going to have a 3 hour layover at DFW.
So what’s your favorite lounge and what does it offer and how do you get to use it?

It would be the Centurion Lounge. But need a platinum Amex to get in. Otherwise I’m sure there are some priority pass lounge (but again need access via credit card). Been in some nice admirals clubs in DFW (but also need to be flying American + access).

They're full 90% of the time in IAH, I'm guessing DFW is the same.

That’s interesting.
I thought they only let so many people in?

There's actually a brand new Chase Sapphire Lounge at DFW. It requires a Chase Sapphire card to gain entry. It only opened 2 weeks ago, so I haven't been there yet. I have been to a few other Sapphire Lounges, and they are very nice. The only problem with this lounge and the Centurion Lounge is that they are both in Terminal D, which is never where I fly into or out of. The train ride to and from other terminals can take some time.

They have capacity limits. At IAH, I've only gotten into the Air France Lounge, in six years. I've never been permitted into the KLM lounge next door because of capacity.
It doesn't matter when the flights from terminal D were leaving (I check into D even if I'm domestic) and there wasn't an ANZ widebody going out, denied. Yet, I keep pretending it's worth it. Ends this year I think, but that's a discussion for the credit card thread somewhere.
