Excalibur, Harrahs, and the Tropicana.

None of these. If you want this level of accommodation stay at the Flamingo or Planet Hollywood

Much better locations

Harrahs just underwent (sp?) a $200M renovation.

Yea I’m probably gonna go with Bally’s if it’s worth the little extra over Harrahs. I’ve crossed out the Tropicana and Excalibur. Thanks you all for the input.

Where you stay becomes the center of the universe. You will spend a large portion of your time there. The strip is massive and spread out. When I’ve stayed at Caesar’s or Wynn or Cosmo or Bellagio I’ve ended up spending at least 75% of my time there.

You can find good deals for a lot of nice properties. MGM in particular.

If you want best chance to win play at El Cortez. Take a day to go to Fremont.
If that’s your 3 choices, Harrahs.

I will have to agree with Fun Bunch, I know everyone's though process is " I won't be in the room much anyway " but you end up spending most of your time in that immediate area. Picking the correct place of stay can make or break a Vegas trip.

Harrah's for the location.

The Mirage also has a good location and should be in the same price range as Harrah's. I've also found that mLife comps are better than Caesars but YMMV. Mandalay Bay is another solid choice, my only gripe with it is the location. It's far down the Strip. I really think if it had a better location it'd be on the same level as Aria, Cosmo, etc.
