Headed to Washington in a couple of weeks for my first visit to the PNW. Will have 3 days to spend checking stuff out. Arrive in Seattle at 10:30am and will have a SUV for the duration. Staying in Seabeck. I figured eating/drinking and checking out Seattle the day we arrive. We enjoy the outdoors and hiking just haven't nailed down what to see since it's only 3 days.

I'm not sure what the snow situation is like but the Skyline Trail in Mount Rainier Nat'l Park is beautiful. In Seattle, go to the Starbucks Roastery, Pikes Place, and Chihuly Gardens. Also, if you like Asian food, Din Tai Fung is great and so is Biang Biang Noodles.

You're coming at an interesting time, it's been in the 50s this week and quite warm but looks like it'll settle back down next week to 40s/30s. Since you're on the other side of the sound, I wouldn't necessarily suggest coming to the Eastside. If you like skiing you're about 2.5 hours away from Crystal Mountain. Tons of hiking over by where you're at, would not suggest upper elevation hikes due to snow unless that's your thing. Wta has a great site for finding hikes LINK. If you want snowmobiling you could go off highway 90 over the Snoqualmie pass and rent

Highly recommend.
I had never been snowmobiling before so I went with Leavenworth Snowmobile Tours. Honestly had a blast, but you can't go off by yourself if that's something you'd like to do.

Hopefully the weather works out for you. There are terrific views of the Olympics from Seabeck.
Since you are staying in Seabeck, I’d recommend:
- Poulsbo if you are into beer
- if the weather is crappy and you want to go back into Seattle, take the ferry from Bainbridge or Bremerton (take your car, or leave at dock and walk on)
- Port Townsend is nice
- Sequim is in the rain shadow if you need to escape the rain. Hike Dungeness Spit
- Hood Canal / South Puget Sound is a major oyster / shellfish area. If you make it to the west side of Hood Canal, visit Hama Hama if you are into oysters

I absolutely loved Pike's Place when we went. It was a cool experience seeing all the different booths and such. They also had a chowder place that was awesome.
