I’m looking for the best atmosphere for watching a football game and placing a small bet.

Background:
First time going to LV.
Not a gambler.
BUT, I’ve heard the atmosphere when games are on can be electric.
I will be there for Bills-Bucs Thursday night next week.

I have heard that Circa is the best but I haven’t been there. My go to place is the Caesar’s Palace Sports Book.

Where are you staying?

Circa, MGM, Wynn are all good choices

Circa is brand new (Old Vegas) - largest SB in the world.

Bellagio and Ceasar's is really nice also.

Bellagio

Circa was on my list but the high temp that day is supposed to be 67. (I was thinking about the pool thing. Guess that sounded dumb. Haha!)

And thanks for all the replies

That really depends on what game. I've been at a sportsbook for the SEC championship and it was a total snooze fest. I've also been at a sports book on a random NDL sunday and it was a mad house so it really depends on what game you're there for.

That being said, the NFL crowd was definitely not my type of crowd.

Like others have said, Circa... Worlds biggest sports book.

Beautiful set up, but bad thing, its in shitty, old vegas.

The sports book inside is equally as awesome.

I imagine so.
We arrive Tuesday afternoon
In seminar all day Wed and Th
Leave Friday afternoon.
So really 3 evenings is what we have.
Just not sure what to do.
Not all that interested in spending $300+ for shows. Not into shows that much.
Was thinking watching the game in a fun environment would be good. Maybe not.
Is The Strat worth going to? (I’m not riding those rides. Haha)

If you've never been before, walk the strip a bit. Make sure to see the Bellagio Fountains and the Conservatory garden inside. Walk through the Wynn (lots of floral displays) and also the Venetian. They are gorgeous hotels and casinos.

Had to change my rec because the 107 Lounge on the Strat is no longer open. They've changed it to 108 Drinks and you have to pay admission to ride the elevator up. You can go for 2 for on1 during happy hour from 3-7 M-T. I'd still say either go here or the High Roller. A view from up high is worth it. But they went and did the money grab and ended the nice little 107 freebie (you could go there and not pay elevator admission). But you know, that's what Vegas is all about...separating you from your money.

You might consider either the Mob Museum or the Neon Museum. Both are interesting and fun, depending on what you like. At least look at their websites and see if you find them interesting.

I've never been to a sports book on a Thur night. It probably won't be the same as a Sunday. You might try somewhere like Blondie's Sports Bar in the Miracle Mile shops or Beer Park at Paris. If you like super dive type places, go to Stage Door Bar and Casino. It's a short walk, kind of behind the Flamingo.

I always suggest people watching at bars. I like the Chandelier at the Cosmo and the Petrossian at the Bellagio. Go to Fremont Street downtown one of the nights. See the light show. See the crazies. Have fun!

I would say Circa then for the game. Get over to Fremont a little early, walk up and down and people watch. The sportsbook inside Circa is nice, but you may have to pay for a seat. But you can stand up and still see all of the screens.

Vegas during March Madness or the NFL Playoffs is a blast. I say this as a former resident who tells everyone to get the hell away from the strip. It is cheap to get there so you can always go back.
