Going to visit fam in Niceville, leaving tomorrow. Would you expect I-10 East traffic from BR to FL (especially thru Mobile tunnel) to be as heavy as a typical summer Saturday, or less because it's the actual 4th?

I think most people had off today so they either drove in yesterday or today. I'd leave early (6am) just to be safe

Guess I’m too late to respond but there certainly wouldn’t be any less traffic than a typical Saturday today.

Historical trends indicate traffic would be heavier on 3rd and 5th than on the 4th.

Just to update this thread for reference, I drove through Mobile tunnel at noon on the 4th and there were ZERO traffic!

Coming back today was a whole different story!!
