My wife (no pics) is asking me to plan a babymoon within the next few weeks to/near the Bama/Florida coastline. Any recommendations? Looking for more of a quite/cozy type house/area versus a condo. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not familiar with a babymoon. Is it just you and the wife going away or will the new baby be coming with you?

Just wife and I. I get the downvotes tho lol. Some new trend when expecting and it’s our first. Happy wife, happy life.

I can't think of any house suggestions. The fees for two people on a short trip seem like it would be high.

If you want to be on the beach, look up Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach or maybe the Hilton Resort in Pensacoula Beach.

I'm not good with cottage/house suggestions so good luck.

Sorry you're getting down voted. We did a babymoon 3 months before ours was born. To answer other posters, yes it's just an excuse to go on a vacation as a couple before fhe baby arrives. I've only ever seen it with first time parents.

We drove from BR to Pensacola Beach and got a relatively cheap Marriott (I want to say Courtyard) and stayed a couple nights. The boardwalk/shopping area was neat. Tried local seafood. Ocean was within walking distance. We had an ocean side view which was half hotel and half ocean view. Wasn't terrible. Spent a lot of time at the pool just hanging out and being to ourselves and away from our phones.

Check out the Lodge at Gulf State Park. No other condos/hotels super close so plenty of quiet beachfront there. As others have said, fees on a house anywhere for two people might not be worth it. Rosemary Beach has some carriage house type properties though that might be worth looking into.

I would suggest renting a little house/townhouse in San Destin. Get one that includes a golf cart. Ride the cart around SanDestin and enjoy.
