Going on our honeymoon next week. We are staying at Ladera Resort and the restaurant Dasheene is in our hotel.
Can anyone recommend other places to eat at or even things to do. We have a boat rented for a day, a private sunset cruise, cooking demo scheduled.
We will arrive Tuesday and come back the following tuesday

Drink as many Pitons as you can handle.
We got back a few weeks ago from our honeymoon in St Lucia, but were on the opposite side of the island. Awesome place.

As someone said, enjoy the Pitons. The perfect beach beer, IMO.
Go to dinner at the Rainforest Hideaway if you can. It was by far the best meal we had there, and it's a really beautiful setting.

Dasheene was my favorite restaurant on the island. Absolutely incredible views from dinner. Also had a great meal at Boucan at the Hotel Chocolat. Every dish has some from of chocolate (cacao). Excellent meal. Enjoy St. Lucia.

Haven't been there in forever, but remember a cool place our driver took us with molten sulfur springs. There may have been a waterfall there as well. It was up in the mountains. Sorry for the vague details, but it was about 12yrs ago.

we did a jungle tour in a land rover. Some rasta was our guide. I thought it was pretty cool. went to some waterfall, ate fruit off the trees, went to a village and had lunch.

we looked up Joe Knows tour. Its on the other side of the island and we've got something similar lined up on our side.
To whoever's been ziplining, was it worth it? I've been once and felt exactly the way the kids in South Park felt. My fiance is dying to go but I think I talked her out of it.

Just got back from there last week. We stayed at a Sandals Resort and have no complaints. Went on the Joe Knows tour. Chocolate Thunder and his crew were off the hook. Did the sunset cruise. Lots of snorkeling. Weather was perfect. You will have a great time.

We did a similar excursion. I think we went up to the volcanos, did the botanical gardens and one more thing. Cant remember. We did have lunch in town as well.

Chocolate thunder was awesome. we had him last year.
We had a group of us on the way back from the snorkeling on the sunset cruise playing flip cup. The crew loved us. We got the captain to play too. It was fun as hell.

We stayed at sugar beach, just down from ladera. I second Dasheen, and boucan. Do a boat trip to Jade Mountain late afternoon and get complimentary drinks on the terrace overlooking the Pitons then stay for dinner for sunset. We had amazing views for the drinks and for first few courses.
We did the boat ride for a day to different parts of the island. Also did a city private car tour w the mud baths and waterfall.
Enjoy! We went for our honeymoon then went back for our 1 year!
