We are taking a trip to Southern California in June and we are staying in Anaheim for a week. One of the nights we are there I’d like to catch a baseball game but I have no interest in seeing the Angels. Please help me decide between seeing a Dodger game or driving down to S.D. and catching a Padres game.

The traffic going to SD is less than to LA. But then that would mean having to watch the Padres.

Take the train from Anaheim to DTown San Diego

It will be less of a headache then going to Dodger Stadium

Padres just remodeled their outfield it looks nice

I've been to all 3 of those ballparks in the past few seasons. Petco in San Diego is definitely the nicest of the 3.

I pain in the arse to get to.

I bigger pain in the arse to leave it after the game.

You will belong to one of 3 groups upon attending a Dodgers game at Dodgers stadium:

1. Those that have witnessed a fight either in or adjacent to Dodger stadium.
2. Those that have gotten their arse beat down in a fight either in or adjacent to Dodger stadium.
3. Those that have gotten murdered in or adjacent to Dodger stadium.

The order does not signify probability.

My company is in LA and ive been over 100 times in 13 years. It's my second home.

I've stayed in Orange County about 30 times. June is a great time. We went to Disneyland 5 years ago in June and it was 75 and no humidity

SoCal gets a bad wrap, Ive come to love it. So much to do and if you halfway know how to navigate around you can avoid huge traffic.

Remember, there are 25 million people from San Diego to north of LA, you cant all lump that in with LA.

Id definitely do a beach day at Huntington or Laguna. Disneyland is great, even for adults, Its very easy to get around unlike Disneyworld.

You can also go to Big Bear for a night or Temecula wine country. My wife loved those places.

Drive down to La Jolla for the day
Drive up to Santa Monica or Melrose
Go Hike the Hollywood sign up to the Griffith Observatory (our favorite)
Go to the Getty Museum
Go tour a studio- Paramount and Sony are very cool
Go see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl

Tons of options. You will have a great time.

Try living there... the 4 years I lived in Huntington Beach were the longest 9 years of my life.
